Since I was a young girl, I went to the Boys 和 Girls Club. They have supported me in life for quite some time. 有一天,, they provided the opportunity to speak with representatives from Herzing大学, 和 I immediately knew this was the school I wanted to attend.
Herzing is a place where I felt welcome. It offered me a unique educational experience as someone whose parents didn’t attend college. They crossed the border so I can have a better life, future, 和 opportunities. I wanted to prove to them I could succeed. I know that they’re proud of what I’ve become, 和 I wanted to pay it forward to them by succeeding.
I chose this degree path not only because I love working with people, but because I also had an interest in 人力资源. I've always wanted to work for a big company 和 make a difference for individuals, 一个团队和一个公司. 这似乎是一个完美的方法.
The staff 和 professors were helpful, especially when I started 和 was new to the school. They guided me, helped me fit in, were considerate 和 played a key role in motivating me. My classmates were also helpful 和 I’m glad I met them!
Throughout the p和emic, I was going through some tough mental health challenges. Time management was also an issue for me at the beginning of my studies. Thanks to the support I received at Herzing, I was able to work through these hardships.
I was able to complete my assignments on time 和 stick to a schedule that worked for me – it’s all about successful time management! My teachers supported me by offering words of encouragement 和 checking in on me to make sure I was keeping up. Thanks to their support 和 schedules, I was able to consistently turn my work in on time. I learned so much through this experience, 和 all of my courses proved valuable for my career.
I am not the same person I was when I first came to Herzing. 在我的学习过程中, 我获得了知识, 技能, 和 experience that will help me in my career 和 life. I also gained additional 技能 in communication 和 problem-solving. I am not the quiet person that I was before, 和 I feel more confident than ever!
My advice to future students is to never give up, stay focused 和 stick with people that will help you reach your goals. 有效管理你的时间, set up a schedule that will work for you to complete your assignments on time 和 don’t wait until the last minute to turn them in. There will be times when you will have to miss an event or party, but it is all worth it in the end because you will reach your goals!
Pursuing my degree at Herzing大学 has been a great experience 和 I’d recommend this university to any student.
